What an abrasive impregnated nylon fibre disc. You'll find the Oakey one on Amazon but I am sure all the DIY stores, builders merchants and places like Screwfix and Toolstation will have something similar

Thanks for your reply, indeed these are available, but are a paint and rust remover; a 'hard' disc. The paint and varnish item is much softer, and more pliant. It seems to be unavailable at all the regular outlets.
