Actually, had I thought about this sooner, you could have come over on Kudu. Sponging some knowledge off you would have been a privilege, and I was supposed to be going with the LSC.

Seven boats from Essex Yacht Club are off to Calais- some have gone on the tide already- Another four, including the good ship Selkie, leaving tonight. A little bit worried that the weather looks to good to be true - I am sure the forecast will change!!

We had 3 or 4 hours of F6 on the nose going off North Foreland and into the shipping lanes and then anything from F5 to F0 from N through E to SW coming home!
