I cant find eoka on the map so it could be in greece i suppose. I will ask Taki when he comes for is money. 10 quid for a few windows and they are all smeary. I would complain to him but I dont want to come over all racist as he cant help where he came form.

No but guess they were crooked. Also who mentioned dive suit...all we did is 3 lads out doing watersports for the afternoon.Just avoid Spain , Greece, Africa and almost Carib.....forgot uk but its still not too bad.

swimbo has just come in and she says that you cant be forced to wear a dive suit in ANY country!
She said to come back here if you can get your pasport back and go down the citizens adise burau. Her friend moira went last year when she was conned by a man she met in a club, he was spannish too. They are all teh same.

The difference is you 'were' breaking the speed limit. You may have only been on the helm
but it would seem they saw you as responsible & fined you accordingly. OTT as it is I can understand your anger at the size of the fine, but not the fact you were fined.

Trouble is, it was a Spannish Boat! If he had swopped passports with his mate this would never have happened. If he had pretended to be Spannish he could have bribed the cops and carried on waterboarding.
I think he should just pay the fine and never go waterboarding in spain or greece again.

Why pretend to be Spannish ? They would be expecting a bigger bung from a non-Spaniard and accept it no doubt.
No matter the rights & wrongs of it, the fact remains he was speeding, all be it 2kts over the limit. No doubt it was enforced by some jobsworth with nothing better to do.
