For those sensible enough(!) to have paper Navtex, it's already there. Just plug the GPS into the back of the Navtex, and there's automatic log print out. You can set the period between samples eg. every hour/half hour/15 minutes etc.

Not many going to be tagged here then. :)

Now if you were to tag caravan owners half, no more than half lets say 90% of the solent would come to a stand still.

I can hear it now "Coast Guard this is Caravan Bucks Fiz can I have a tag check please" :)

You could get a rubber stamp made that said left lymington ... Arrived Yarmouth ... no incidents and just stamp you book for each trip - or better still the relevent officials head!!
BUT if such a rule comes in does it apply to Jet skies and fleets of racing dingies ... Please
