Yes in Notices terms, it's the end of the year!
Nothing much to excite us in these.
Permanent
1. Some new yellow buoys with no obvious navigation significance (yellow cans, unlit) adjacent to the Banjaard channel off Schouwen, Holland.
2. New wreck found in the Haisborough Gat but at a depth of 24.5m so it won't trouble us.
3. From last week, extension of the Queenborough ATL is notified in UKHO notices; it is now lit either end.
4. A singular reduction of depth well offshore off Great Yarmouth but still 18+m so it won't trouble us.
5. Couple of temporary North Cardinals in the Roompot to mark an undersea pipeline.
Temporary
1. Walker lighted buoy is now back in position
2. The two sunken vessels at Queenborough have been removed.
3. Refurbishment of the upper Colne navigation marks is taking place until mid-January. Temporary replacements in position.
4. River Roach - unlit signs to mind your wash (as previously posted).
5. Erith Reach, River Thames, repair works on Erith Oil Works jetties until the end of the year.
That is it for 2014. Happy New Navigational Year to all.:encouragement:
