2. ENGLAND - East Coast - Automatic Identification System. - AIS deleted at the ‘W1’ light buoy which stands at the entrance to the Wisbech channel in the Wash. (the buoy is currently reported as off station by Local Notices)

1. River Thames - Greenwich Reach - The Royal Naval College: UAV Operations & Local Traffic Control - on Tuesday 5th May 2026, an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) operation will be conducted outside the Royal Naval College Greenwich. The operation will take place between 21:00 and 01:00 with flights expected from 21:15-21:25, 22:05-22:20 and 00:30-00:45.
To support this operation, an exclusion zone will be implemented across half of the channel during each flight and encompassing the UAV safety area, as depicted in red in the chartlet. Local Traffic Control and one-way working will be established during the times above between Lovell’s Wharf and the upstream end of Greenwich Ship Tier. Local Traffic Control will be undertaken from a PLA Harbour Service Launch exhibiting blue flashing lights. All vessels intending to navigate Greenwich Reach are to call the PLA Harbour Service Launch callsign ‘GREENWICH CONTROL’ on VHF Channel 14 as follows:
Inbound at Lovell’s Wharf. Outbound at Greenwich Ship Tier. Prior to leaving a berth or mooring between Lovell’s Wharf and Greenwich Ship Tier. Owners and operators are reminded that no manned vessels are permitted to pass through the exclusion zone. All vessels are to maintain a continuous watch on VHF Channel 14, following instructions from the attending Harbour Service Launch. Further information will be broadcast by London VTS on VHF Channel 14.
2. River Thames - St Clement's Reach - Johnson's Wharf: Diving Operations - commencing on between 27th and 29th April 2026 diving operations will take place in the vicinity of the downriver mooring dolphin at Johnson’s Wharf as shown on the chartlet. Workboat ‘SHAKEDOG’ will be in attendance and will be displaying the following signals while diving is taking place:
By day, International Code Flags ‘Romeo Yankee (RY)’, ‘Alpha (A)’ and a red flag near the diver’s point of entry into the water.
By night, illuminated rigid replicas of the International Code Flags ‘Romeo Yankee (RY)’ and ‘Alpha (A)’.
Requirements to proceed with caution or at slow speed will be made in accordance with the procedure set out in the Port of London Authority’s Port Information Guide, under ‘Speed Reductions’. Further information will be broadcast by London VTS on VHF 68.
3. Dredging Operation at Burnham Yacht Harbour - INFORMATION - Please be advised that Burnham Yacht Harbour Marina Ltd have now completed their Maintenance Dredging Operations in the approach to and within Burnham Yacht Harbour, Burnham on Crouch, Essex.
