1. New Editions of ADMIRALTY Small Craft Charts 12th May, 2022:
Chart 5605.1 Western Approaches to Dover Strait and A Western Approaches to Dover Strait and B Northern Approaches to Dover Strait. - Includes changes to depths, pilotage areas and a light.
2. New Editions of ADMIRALTY Small Craft Charts 26th May, 2022: Chart 5606.1 Thames Estuary, Southern North Sea and Dover Strait. NE of Source SNC 1406 including changes to depths and pilotage area.
Chart 5606.3 Dover Strait, Dover to Ramsgate Including Sandettié Bank. NE of Source SNC 323 including updated hydrography from British Government surveys.
Chart 5607.1 Thames Estuary, Orford Ness to Oostende. NE of Source SNC 1406 including changes to depths and pilotage area.
3. ENGLAND - East Coast - Depths. - 5 small reductions of depth in the River Thames: one at Gravesend Reach off Tilbury, two close to the Lower Hope and West Blyth and two in Sea Reach close west of the Tanker and the Sea Reach No 7. None likely to hinder leisure craft.
4. ENGLAND - East Coast - Depths. - One reduction of depth at the Long Sand Head. That continues the long standing extension of the Long Sand Head gradually towards the northeast. Cutting the corner of Long Sand Head is NOT to be recommended! ?‍? Reduced sounding reported vide NtM 384 earlier this year are included in the image in green.
5. BELGIUM - NM Block. Light. -
One UKHO block for Chart 1873 providing detail in Ostend and one emendation to the light at the eastern side of the harbour entrance.
6. ENGLAND - East Coast - Depths. - Two small reductions of depth in the River Thames off Purfleet. Unlikely to hinder leisure craft.
7. ENGLAND - East Coast - Buoyage. Pilot boarding place. Radio reporting point. - This notice adds detail to last week’s notice (1642) notifying the buoyage and Pilot details for the approaches to Kings Lynn (changing to the Bulldog channel from Dalesley’s Sled). 8. Week 20 - ENGLAND - East Coast - Depths. -
This notice report 14 reductions of depth (some dramatic) 3 off Great Yarmouth at the west edge of the Scroby Sands, 8 on the eastern edge of the Holm Sand north of Lowestoft and one east of the Holm Sand, and 2 in the Lowestoft Approaches. Most of those are confirming the Temporary Notice 1124(T) in week12, save one depth on the western side of the Holm Sand is changed. Three images. The isolated sounding on the east side of the Holm Sand should be seen in conjunction with the image of Notice 1170 in Week 13.
9. Week 20 - ENGLAND - East Coast - Buoy. Radar beacon. Automatic Identification System. - The Newarp safe water buoy northeast of Winterton Ness has been deleted.

Local

1. Harwich Harbour - Dredging Operations - Panda -
Mariners are advised that on or about the 02 May 2022 the workboat Panda (IMO number - 9807798) will commence plough dredging in the harbour, for a period of approximately four weeks. (no other details)
2. Lowestoft – Newcome Sands - Geophysical Survey - geophysical survey works will be carried out by Orsted, on ‘Newcome Sands’ (SE of the port entrance). Survey works will be commencing on the 25th April 2022 and will be completed within
approximately 10 days. The area to be surveyed is shown in the chartlet /table which can be seen on the Local List of the aboveq quoted web page. Survey works will be carried out by the vessel ‘Spectrum Nyquist’. Call sign MIIG4. MMSI 232031312. Vessels mobile No. +44 07803 031728. The vessel will have limited manoeuvrability and it is requested that all vessels operating near the survey vessel maintain a safe distance (at least 500m) and pass at minimum speed.
3. East Coast of England - The Wash - Approaches to the Wash - Beacon B re-instatement - Mariners are advised that on or about 28th April 2022, Beacon B will be re-instated at position 52° 49.090’ N 00° 21.136’ E.
The Beacon will be yellow with a yellow cone top-mark and fitted with a light with character of Fl Y 2s - The yellow light buoy, “B”, situated close south east of the Beacon will be removed. Works will be carried out by the work boat “St Edmund” which will be grounded to the south of the beacon. All passing craft are requested to pass at minimum speed whilst the St Edmund is manoeuvring off the beacon.
4. Paglesham Fairway No 1 Lighted Buoy – River Roach - NAVIGATION - the Paglesham Fairway No 1 Lighted Buoy in approximate position: 51°35.825 N, 000°49.167 E Is back on station.
