I am on a plane to Nigeria tomorrow morning so here is next week's details. The UKHO permanent notices are taken from the daily lists and so is correct and fully up to date. Temporary notices are as published at this moment.
Permanent
1. Revised UKHO block published showing the turning circle and special marks off Wallesea island, River Crouch. This has been previously notified in a Crouch HM NtoM.
2. Revision of 4 buoy names off the Oostdyck in Belgian waters. No other changes to the buoys.
Temporary
1. As inserted in last week's post, Trinity House have issued a NtM indicating that the revised light characteristics on the Long Sand Inner and Outer SWB is Iso 2s and not 2.5s as previously stated. This has resulted in a second update for the second edition of Crossing the Thames Estuary which is on my downloads page (http://www.crossingthethamesestuary.com/page6.html). Those who have signed up for Update notifications should have received a copy by email. If you signed up and have not got an email, let me know because I have 'cocked-up' somewhere!
2. Harwich have issued their annual notice regarding staying at Halfpenny Pier.
3. Harwich have issue two notices regarding the reimposition of the seasonal buoyage within their area.
4. Again as inserted in last week's post Peel Ports (Medway) have given warning that the Esplanade Pier at Rochester is closed owing to a sunken motor cruiser alongside.
That's it. Normal weekly posts will resume a week on Monday.
