1. ENGLAND - East Coast - Depths -
Preliminary Notice of five reductions of depth in the Lowestoft North Road close to the Holm Sand but all outside of the starboard hand buoy of West Holm. See next week’s permanent notice No 109.
2. ENGLAND - East Coast - Depths. - This is associated with the Preliminary Notice No 88(P) in Week 1. This records three reduced depths in the edge of the Lowestoft North Road (outside the West Holm starboard hard buoy)!
3. ENGLAND - East Coast - Depths. - Six slight reductions of depth in and around the Sunk Inner mark. At all over 15+m unlikely to hinder leisure craft!

1. GREENWICH REACH - RIVER CLOSURES - FILMING OPERATIONS -
From Tuesday 28th December 2021 to Sunday 2nd January 2022, filming operations will be conducted periodically in Greenwich Reach, commencing at 22:30 each evening with activity complete by 0500 the following morning. To support these operations, the river may be periodically closed to navigation between Deptford Creek and Lovells Moorings as depicted in the chartlet below. When the closure is established, mariners may experience delays to their passage of no more than 20 minutes and disruption to port operations will be kept to a minimum. Advance warning of closures will be broadcast by London VTS. The river closure will be indicated by two Harbour Service Launches displaying flashing blue lights, one stationed upriver of Deptford Creek and one downriver of Lovells Moorings. No manned vessels other than emergency service vessels responding to an incident and vessels engaged in filming operations are permitted within the closure area. All vessels are to navigate this area with caution, maintaining a continuous watch on VHF Channel 14 and follow the instructions from the Harbour Service Launches exhibiting flashing blue lights; call sign prefix ‘THAMES PATROL’. In addition, vessels are prohibited from mooring at or approaching within 20 metres of Folly House moorings from Tuesday 28th December 2021 to Sunday 2nd January 2022 inclusive. 2. HALFWAY REACH - THUNDERER JETTY DECONSTRUCTION AND CONSTRUCTION WORKS - On or about the 14th January 2021, contractors working on behalf of Stolthaven Dagenham Ltd will commence works on the deconstruction and then construction of Thunderer Jetty. It is anticipated that the works will last up to 18-months. The works, which will include; scaffolding around the downriver jetty, the removal of the current jetty and associated works and the construction of a new jetty in its place. To support these works, a variety of marine plant will be used, including; jack-up barges, supply barges, tugs and works boats. Throughout these operations, Thunderer Jetty will remain operational. In order to support these operations a temporary mooring box will be established off No. 7 (Curved) Jetty, as detailed in the chartlet on the above quoted page. All vessels associated with the works will maintain a listening watch on VHF channel 14. Requirements to proceed with caution or at slow speed will be made in accordance with the procedure set out in the Port of London Authority’s Port Information Guide, under ‘London VTS’, ‘Section 4’. Safety boat ALFIE will be on station during working hours and maintain a watch on VHF Channel 14.
3. Dredging Operations - Please be advised that Essex Marina will be undertaking annual Maintenance Dredging Operations in the approach to and within Essex Marina, Wallasea Island, Essex on the 4th January 2022 through to the 31st March 2022 - Dredging Operations will be carried out by Tug ASSASSIN. Please be aware that small sections of pontoon may temporarily be placed onto Essex Marina’s Swinging Moorings which at night will be marked with a fixed white light at each end.

4. Outer Crouch No 4 Lighted Buoy - Mariners are advised that the Outer Crouch No 4 Lighted Buoy in approximate position: 51°38.000 N, 000°58.000 E is unlit.
