Notice to Mariners Week 31 - Famous Notice - and new addition

Permanent

1. Admiralty Charts to be published 18 August 2016 - Chart 1503 - International Chart Series, England - East Coast, Outer Dowsing to Smiths Knoll Including Indefatigable Banks. 1:150,000 - Includes changes to the territorial sea limit (?) and changes to depths within the Sheringham Shoal Wind Farm.
2. Less Water (2016) at the Long Sand - Fame for a forumite personally named in the NtM - well done Simon.
3. Thames Estuary - Middle Deep - Depths. - Two reductions of depth indicating the shoal to the west of the Middle Deep is worsening.
4. Approaches to Oostende and Approaches to Zeebrugge - Buoyage deletion of three special yellow buoys.

Temporary

1. Trinity House NtM - to delete two cardinal buoys in the North Sea (off north Norfolk) leaving two in place to mark the wreck of the Jacoba Aliida in the DR1 Deep Water Route;
2. Port of Lowestoft amending the new Port Entry Lights;
3. More dredging at Port of Wells.

Apologises - had omitted NtM at Herne Bay for the Herne Bay Air Show on Sunday 14th August - Image in the Temporary list to show exclusion zone. Thanks to Cantata for the NtM.

Going through Foulgers Gat the other week and saw TH Alert doing survey runs in the area between the windmills.

Umm, interesting. Unfortunately TH won't let me access to the data so the results will have to be seen when UKHO revise the charts (if necessary). I wonder if TH would do the Spitway as well given that the other professional survey mentioned last week was going to stop short of the Spitway. Foulger's and Spitway are of course issues for TH's buoyage. Just speculating though.
