If it was for real the dummies guarding it would be "all busy in high vis jackets..not standing to attention like some blddoy funeral"...and the POLICE tape wouldnt be lying on the ground...and assuming it was dead would probably have it's eyes closed and not look so happy....but I bow to those with greater knowledge.

Giant Squid do exist up to 60 feet long http://news.sky.com/story/1194928/giant-squid-caught-by-japanese-fishermen and they may well be right about about radioactivity causing giantism, so it may not be a fake
