Not a 'where is it?' but a 'What is it?'

in fact being slightly more specific it looks like Eleckra

and a Flyer 12m..

These boats have recently caught my eye whilst flicking through the internet, contemplating a new boat but the interior lets them down badly.

Its a Flyer 12 - basically a coupe version of the short lived Antares 12.
One of the first IPS boats it was also available on shafts.

That blue hull isnt standard - looks like a wrap or a repaint. Early ones were red, middle ones tended to be blue (but lighter) or white and a few of the very late boats had grey hulls.

Very similar in layout to the Sealine C/SC39.

Only a Lakesailor second class I'm afraid.
Would have been a Class 1 if i'd thanked Jez directly.

But thanks FF for the speedy reply

absolutely no problem tico. indeed not a lakesailor first class, but on the lakesailor spectrum. :)

I always thought Elecktra was very smart looking boat, and you are not alone as being parked next to her for 7 years a load of folk didn't know what it was. I think its air of distinction was always helped by the squadron ensign, but the hull was painted not wrapped and the last owner added the teak decks, claimed it took a load of speed off the boat as it was far heavier but having come from sail he was not concerned to much. It was always well maintained afaik, certainly kept very clean. I believe what ever engine options were offered on the Flyer it had the smaller of the two, hence the slight issue when a lot of weight was added...

Think it may well be Elektra as not only is it debadged but has the teak deck. Yes very smart.
Aquired recently (couple of months or so) by some friends of ours, but havnt seen them for a while to ask.
yes very smart looking

Am I missing something here ?
This white Ensign buisness --- correct me if i am wrong --- but the pic reminds me of ( in the UK car world ) of having a private No plate ,like " A 1 " on a Lada or Proton .

Maybe that's the real debadge reason --- ? -- well at least he,s not stuck another badge on like " M " on a BMW 316 D or AMG on C180 ,or boaty equivalent .

I mean I,am thinking the "white " and the boat don,t match up !
