Noss-on-Dart pontoons - how are they named/numbered ?

We've booked a visitor's berth for a few days while we have guests to make logistics simpler. However they've offered us a berth on D pontoon and I cannot work out where that is. Anyone know Noss and can tell us please ? TIA Penny
 
As you come up from the mouth of the river, the first pontoon is A, they are lettered sequentially from there.

If you are arriving during daytime, the marina is well manned and the guys are more than happy to help guide you when closer and take lines.

Watch the ebb tide!

Hopefully this image helps a bit more, this is looking South towards Kingwear/Dartmouth. I've labelled the first few pontoons, the first "big" hammerhead you get to is actually D pontoon.

I'm not sure how the individual berth numbers work yet - our boat was in before they had any numbers on so I just walk down on autopilot ?

Thanks to you both. Are you referring to the new layout since the redevelopment started ? So the southern most pontoon (with boats bow up stream) would be A ? That's where the big Lagoon Talullah is ? and so on up stream ?

It seems strange, and will take some getting used to, but it seems to make sense.

Essentially, each pontoon running East to West is alphabetically labelled, from A the Southernmost one. I am not quite sure where it will end, but they already have a J...

I'm down tomorrow through this weekend so I'll walk around and get a look at the berth numbers. If you don't mind sharing, what number have they assigned you? I can mark the exact berth on the image if it helps.
