Bloody fantastic, my parents spent the summer on the west coast and would regularly text me about it being too hot and temperatures going over the 30 degrees mark. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
What you must remember about rain on the west coast is that the mountains along the coast will cool the air coming off the sea and cause rain to fall. But I have often spent days amongst the outer islands in glorious sunshine when you can see inland it's dull and overcast.
Besides, when was the last time you saw a British newspaper with the headline 'heat wave due to taper off'?
