Morning All

Calling all the North Wales folk as I am after a little bit of advice or indeed recommendation.

We are exhibiting at the North Wales Boat Show on the 24th - 26th July and I shall be there for the duration. Naturally we need somewhere to stay and have been recommended the following in Anglesey as everywhere in Bangor is full.

The Bulkeley Hotel

The Bulls Head Inn

Anyone stayed at either of these two? or know them?

I dont know the area at all in fact my knowledge is so bad I could not understand why I could not just cut across the A5 to get there save going round the top......

Let me know ytour thoughts..

Cheers

I had been warned about the Welsh humour....I have not set foot in the place since I last had a Welsh girlfriend (a long while ago and you only ever have one).

So any sensible comments out there!!!

and thank you!

Ok checked with a local and they are both nice the Bulls head rooms are very good and its a proper pub The hotel is a more traditional Hotel just accross the road from the Bulls head. Nice little Town and dont worry they arnt really Welsh on Anglesey. You are lucky Bangor is full, its worth avoiding at night.

Bulls head it is very helpful and even apologetic about the rate....

The rate for three days is cheaper than most hotels we stay in for one night!

Looking forward to it and if anyone is around please do come along and say hello.

Regards

Richard

How the bloody H did You know I,m from Rhyl!

Anyway for Lawsey.

As an Arab once said to Me when I stiched Him up with an Old Banger.

Roughly translated from His Mother tongue.
'May the flees of a thousand Camels,
Lie in your Mother's bed'

His mate said.
'Would you buy another Car off this Man'?

Maher replied.
'A wise Man does not put His head in the Lions mouth twice'!
