Anyone in Norwich this week should get down to "The Forum" for an exhibition of underwater photography with huge pictures of Norfolk coastal underwater flora and fauna projected onto the room walls.

It is a free display lasting about every 15 minutes until the 20th Nov. There are some truly amazing pictures taken in clear! water and all within 200m of the shoreline. Some of the pictures are so colourful it looks more like the Red Sea than the North Sea!! Never knew there was such a variety of sea life down there amonst the chalk "reefs" and with their underwater arches and gullies.

Don't tell fibs Pete, clear water and east coast!:p

There certainly is clear water off the East Coast, as I've dived it.
There is a strange phenomenon where there is clear water offshore which gradually passes round from Essex to Suffolk to Norfolk durling late May, June, July.

Who'd have thought the East coast looked like that !

Mind, we were catching Mackerel at 150 feet out by the Gabbard in the Summer, so i suppose it must be clear down there.
