I crewed on 'Aztec' and yes a brilliant day. After the race we had to anchor in the Ray to wait for the next flood.
Amazing to see all the mud banks now turning to sand with boats beached on them, children running and playing there or people just taking a stroll!

No - but i got chased up the estuary by the race entrants - amazing site looking aft to see so many sails amonst all the commercial traffic so close to the pier
