I have had a problem with my starter on my Nordic Tug for the pasat 3 yrs! Randomly when I turn th ekey to start the engine nothing happens. While the lights are on in the cabin and I turn the key they do not dim. From this I assume that no power is going to the starter/selnoid. I can however, use a screwdriver to hot start it. I have replaced the starter/selnoid, turn key, neutral safety switch, batteries, and battery cables. Does anyone have any suggestions? The engine is a Yanmar. Thanks Lori Jones

You should now look at the trigger wire which runs from ign switch to solonoid to enegise it. Possibly a dry joint or bad connection at the solonoid.
