None wax removing boat wash.

Boat still has a lovely shine from last year’s polish and wax so I just want to wash off and apply an extra coat of wax to keep things Ok. I am not fussed about a mirror finish, just prolonging a decent shine as long as possible. Any recommendations for an effective wash that won’t take off the old wax. Will go into a boatyard sump so eco not essential.

I’ve only ever used non-branded, car wash and wax concentrate, usually bought from a supermarket. A typical size, 2 litres? lasts a couple of years.

Same here, i've got a 5l can on the van, i use it for the boat, the van and the car.

Thanks - though reluctant to use ‘anonymous’ stuff as I don’t want to remove the existing wax or add another which might affect the adhesion of the farecla boat wax which has proven to be remarkably (to me) resilient over the years.

Any wash with a wax in it wont remove existing boat wax

El cheapo wash and was works just fine with Farecla wax, used it for a decade or so.
