The "making good" around the flue terminal looks a bit of a bodge.

This I would be more concerned about as it is a means of the products of combustion entering the building in certain conditions and would be a good reason to refer to Gas Safe and get them to inspect it and probability get the installer (if registered) back to complete the installation properly.
