I'm fitting a 'roof' over a storage container to help keep the weather off it and also to help keep the internal temperature down a little. I'm intending to use some reclaimed box profile roofing sheets(Plastisol). A couple of these have a few holes in (6mm) from previous fixings. As I'd like this roof to be rain proof as much as possible and for as long as possible without constant attention, ie we're going travelling and wont be around, then what are the suggestions as to how to make good the holes please?

If its double skin (you say Box profile) ........... then any sealing goop designed for exterior use .... put tape on underside to stop it just falling through ... squirt generous measure in, smooth off top .. let set.

Just get a 10mm bolt and nut with a couple of washers either side. Or a big pop rivet.
