Noisy Gulls

The Gulls around the Marina have been extremely raucous the past week or so and making a hell of a racket from 5am onwards. Yesterday I noticed a van from a hawking center on the Marina, I don't know if it was a lost Hawk in the Marina scaring the birds or whether the Falconer has put up a Peregrine or something , but silence this moning and a lie in undisturbed!!.

Coincidence maybe ??

Send the Hawkie job up the Itchen please. We have a couple of idiots who feed the damn seagulls on a daily basis. So the seagulls say, 'why should I wear myself out flying about trying to catch fish when these guys just feed me?' The mess is awful.
