A post from Race Control this morning:
We appear to be having had a few UK based issues this morning.
The game is fine as are the servers.
The problem seems to be with connection speeds between the UK and mainland Europe.
Italy Spain and Portugal were bad yesterday and today it seems to be our turn.
Technical speak for "we know our servers were crunching a bit; but we will put the blame on something else that is not under our control"
