... and no u/w lights - something that surely oldgit and Searush would have appreciated! :)
Only flat, crystal clear waters and blue sky. With natural landscape at 360°.

After some days of F7/F8 mistral, we couldn't have hoped for a better first seasonal cruise, with a couple of days anchored in the bay below. No mobile coverage, no TV channels. Even the VHF on 16 was almost always silent.
Just a couple of Eleonora's Falcon flying around the nearby rocks. Fantastic.

Btw, I must admit that you guys north of the Channel have some taste for the selection of nice spots, also very far from home.
The only other boat, at the opposite side of the bay, was a nice ketch flying a blue ensign (barely visible in the second pic)

I took also some clips, but I'm on a slowish line and upload of big files is a pita. I hope you'll enjoy the pics.

Sensational location MM...postcards of the Med :)

Just to help a foreigner find his bearings, I'm guessing somewhere in Sardinia?

A mate of mine is about to depart from Dubrovnik on a charter boat, so my focus (well jealousy really :() has been in the Eastern Med for the last few days.

BTW the new avatar looks good...

Yup, this is the bay.
The round circle in the right upper corner is the old tower shown in the first pic.
Where's your friend heading from Dubrovnik? There are some very nice cruising areas also around there.
Oh, and yes, also the avatar is from another great spot (particularly for diving): Fernando De Noronha.

Not sure exactly where, but there are a group of four couples on a large fully crewed yacht. No doubt when he returns he will have all the info.

We intend to cruise in the Adriatic at sometime and catch up with my wifes' Serbian relatives, so keenly watching for advice and recommendations.

Am I allowed to ask how far from your permanent mooring the bay is? Trying to work out how far at D speed you would travel for a weekend cruise....
Not far at all, 15nm or so. Which means less than a couple of hours, even at D speed.
And there's actually a good choice of similar places within such range.
Not to mention that my "usual" anchoring bay is at just 3nm from my home port.
