Nobody at the moment, but you never know...Out of interest who do you have in mind?
Don't worry, anyway. It won't ever be a boating mate - as the old saying goes, the best boats are friends boats! :encouragement:

In the first pic above eagle eyed viewers might spot the brand new silver Pershing 70 (with the "wings") that replaces the Pershing 62 that crashed/sunk November 2017.
Teehee - good thinking! Similarly if I steal a nice Breitling from a Guernsey jeweller shop at night and noone sees me I'm scott free, even if I'm wearing it. Your post does indeed illustrate the absurdity of the idea that the only evidence that will persuade a jersey court is eye witness testimony. Poppycock aka Bolx. :encouragement:Note to self: whenever I'll decide to kill someone, bring him/her to Guernsey first, and then just find a place with nobody around - job done. :ambivalence:
Yup, nice boat. Has been out and about, anchored st brelades and portelet plenty, this summer/August. Dunno if same captain though! It's a shame the owner has moved berth to beside the marina entrance. The previous Pershing was under my window exactly where tetleys is now parked, and made for a nice view. Not that tetleys boat isn't a nice view :encouragement:Think I saw that the other day being re-fuelled at Victoria Pier. I did wonder if it was the replacement. Named Ankr IIRC.

Goodness! That’s him told. ?Hi John,
Did you receive my PM? I resent it - Piers

Goodness! That’s him told.
Re-sent, of course. Easy to mis-type, little bit shocking to read.
Here's the reason.
After all these years, you should know that one of the main raison d'être of the asylum is to get high English lessons FoC…![]()
Ahem...![]()

Teehee the several posts above![]()
. Sorry Piers for my slow response. Yes I got PM. I'll text you a reply this morning when a few moving parts of my schedule for next few days get fixed. No resentment meant or felt in either direction

We are now very wary about visiting Guernsey when there is any east in the wind so Jersey gets more of our custom because guaranteed shelter..
Piers, sounds a very bad experience in Guernsay in the NE gale. Glad you escaped without too much damage.
I empathise with you and agree with IDAMAY ...
In 5 years of summer cruising and visiting perhaps 200 marinas and 100 or so islands, from Atlantic France to the Baltic, including the Western Isles of Scotland and the Orkneys, the worst experience we have had to date was in Guernsay visitor marina, and that was only a F6-7 from the NNE. Boats were getting damaged, and the mooring cleat broke on a boat next to us! Only time I have kept an all night watch in a marina.
Fortunately we were able to escape to the QE2 marina, which was bliss by comparison.
Lovely island - but not in strong NE winds.
Given the above recommendation, I have just ordered some 22mm warps from P.L.A.M. https://www.plam.it/en/product/popeye-h-t-polyester-double-braid/
Expensive, but hopefully really good.
Recommended for superyacht. Going up in the world, Piers! :encouragement::encouragement::encouragement:
