That's the Watchmate. I'm trying to confirm the wiring for the AIS combo. See post #18, there are differing cables on page 100, which is yours. You need to be accurate.

Then post 7 should be correct, although they are a bit vague regarding the common wire, so try connecting the white AIS wire to the Combo black.

Got to leave it for a few days now, will follow it up asap. Seeing coloured wires before my eyes!

Hooray, two cheers. White to Black worked, position data received but no AIS - that may be sorted, configuration issue?

However......the Watchmate then lost the input for no apparent reason, before my eyes. I will give it another quick go tomorrow and then give up.
I suspect I have been turned over on Ebay and the Watchmate has an intermittent fault. Glad I saw it working though. Thanks again for your assistance. Onward.
