I haven't seen previous post on this either... so happy to contribute to a new one!
....no highly technical answers as to why....but I do like the Aquador. Build quality of both great, but concept of 32c is better IMHO... and as always walk-around deck access is my priority... (a sailor at heart)
,....and actually the access to the side decks are a lot easier on the Aquador, I have a friend with a Nimbus 320 and his SWMBO (who isn't that steady on her pins) has fallen overboard trying to get along the side deck from the cockpit... not sure that counts as a disadvantage.. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Haven't owned either but I perceive that the Nimbus as being a bit more rufty-tufty and the Aquador a bit more well-appointed but perhaps a smidge less sea-kindly. However, in both cases I suspect the crew would have given up long before the boat.
The Aquador is only available as a single-engined boat; I'm not sure about the Nimbus?
Having seen my friends Nimbus I do agree, certainly a nicely put together boat. Funny though how you see other boats and make an assumption on their quality by where they are built and overall looks.
... a good insight from Paul I think!
.....still like the design of the Aquador though.....
But alas, as am likely only to be able to afford cheap French boats for a while I can only dream of owning a boat of quality! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
It depends on it's intended use. They have different hull styles. The Nimbus is semi displacement whilst the Aq is fully planing. I had a Nimbus (brilliant boat) which I would use inland, and is very suitable for both inland and offshore. Also the Nimbus has a larger cockpit, this translates to a larger saloon in the Aq.
You may need to be more specific as to what you are looking for; speed, accomodation, etc... and where you intend to use it. That will prompt some more input, maybe.
