When about 18 and sailing with a chum we pulled into Braye, Alderney to be met by the Harbourmaster, " You just missed 'em lads, there was an all-girl crew, they went thataway ! " ( pointing to Guernsey ) ...

That's the classic way for an HM to get rid of unwanted vistors. I'm pleased to know it is not just me it happens to !!

Whilst berthed in Weymouth at South Cove during the heatwave of last summer, I was hailed by the skipper of a very nice Contessa 26, asking if she could raft up alongside. Never a problem and always happy to oblige, she and her very shapely and attractive bikini-clad crew then proceeded to tie up a/s my Sadler. Whilst I have found that 'rafting up' does not usually generate more than a passing glance from those already berthed on a visitor's pontoon, the arrival of these lovely young ladies on a sweltering hot afternoon in coming alongside, certainly created quite a stir of interest! Shame they left at 4am the next morning.
 
Well Giblets, there are lock in winch handles and I'm sure this lady would be good company to have on board to chat about winch and sheet ratios, peel spuds, air one's socks, pass pot noodles to the cockpit, that sort of thing...:)

Great find Dylan.
Watched them all , facinated.
She seems very sensible and of course would be , being German but she was starting with a hell of a project boat.
Still , I like people that just get on with it and overcome problems as they happen.
 
A very nice young woman and a nice video, nice.

It probably sounds a bit po-faced but I find the inevitable sexual comments just a bit tiresome. If you wouldn't say it to her in person , keep it to yourself is a good rule I find.
