Yes, a sense of history without doubt. We saw some of them earlier in the day, with the BBMF Lancaster passing over to punctuate their progress.

Last news was still that it would depart on 4 August and arrive in the UK on the 8th.

We were at the Canadian Heritage Museum in March, and their Lancaster was being prepared for its trip accross the Alantic. It looked like every nut and bolt was being checked . The guys at the museum were really excited about the flight. It has flown longer journeys the other side of the Alantic but never been over here before. It will also do the trip sub 10,000ft altitude. View attachment 44163
