They are not new (?) perhaps people repatriating before Brexit
More like they're repatriating them because of Covid. I got pissed off myself this year not being to use my boat and seriously considered bringing it back to the UK

Just think of the cheap fuel and extra attention from the frog boat industry when Sterling rises relatively to the euro .

Fancy a forum cruse in company to Athens ?

I,ll set off a few days later and still have a couple days with Vas before the fleet chugs in . :)

Agree particular those who can’t fly easily due to the airline industry crash .Also some irrespective of the schedules and costs may have co morbidity factor eg asthma or what ever .Age being another co morbidity .
So “use it or loose“ it springs to mind .
Remember airports and planes are petri dishes .

The 90 in 180 swings it for retirees living in the U.K. too ,

Count me in , Mike owes me a beer. Ps is there a spoons in Athens

Yours won’t fit Mike.?

Its 20yrs nearly since I left UK boating for the Med. I sort of assumed boats had got bigger in the UK over the years and that marina facilities had followed suit?

I've saved a can of Watneys Red Barrel onboard just for you ;)

Might have lost its fizz a bit by now though

We have a spare cabin , and if mike declines your kind crewing offer you are in .
We can breeze by Capri in an Itama , that’s alone with the locals ensures we get the best table at the best hotel .
Not bad for equivalent of £10 .

Even I would buy an Itama for £10.

My Phantom 43 feels small in Lymington Yacht Haven, a lot of 50+, numerous 60+, a Sunseeker 75 and an 86. I'd say boats and facilities are definitely bigger than 20 years ago.

What crewing offer? Anyway I only employ female crew with big fenders, legs up to their armpits and an accommodating attitude. Not sure that Stokey fits the bill :giggle:
