See there amazement that there is no orange foam, supermarket trolleys and sea of mud.

Have had my bottom scrubbed and have checked that throttles will go to WOT for the sprint between locks.
Have got a new set of earplugs for the racket that all those generators create on summer evenings.
Have extra fenders for all those Thames boaters who have yet to realise that you do not use the boat in front to stop.
Have been practising putting on my " How Interesting Expression " when told just how rough it can get at Cliveden.
Have been practising my " Sympathetic Face " for all the tales of woe about how much funding the Thames is about to lose and how its not fair that you have to actually get orf ones launch and work the locks oneself.

Will probably pass you around Teddington as we are on the way downstream to make some smoke.

Just remember to be on the lookout for islands mid river...I seem to recall you having a rather close encounter with one on a previous trip up the Thames, resulting in some bent pulpit rails... (or am I thinking of someone else?)
