Next Question - Cabin Flooring

I had a search and we don't take pictures of the cabin sole, but we did have a celebratory dinner (for some reason or other, Chinese New Year?) and did take a picture of that, which includes the saloon table and, as background, the floor.

My contribution, I made the table top, Josephine cooked the dinner, I drank the wine and we did enjoy the meal.

I have mentioned before - sailing is not like camping in the 1960s - there is no need to slum it just because you on a boat.

We looked for ages. Eventually saw some 'marine looking' Lino and or about 30 quid had enough to do our boat twice. We dont slip on it and it doesn't slip about on the floor. In a couple of places we used adhesive. It looks good after 2 years and we have a full 'spare' in the loft!

I've used stick-on cork tiles on 2 boats and they have beaten everything I've tried. They're non-slip, warm to the touch and look nice varnished.
