Next/previous

If I'm looking at a thread and wish to view the previous one (ie the one that was posted before the one Im looking at) then I have to press the "next" button.

On the other hand, if I want to view the next one (the one posted after the one I'm looking at) I have to press the "previous" button...

Is it just me or what...??

Reminds of some accounting software that sent out debt chasing letters when the account got 30 days, 60 days etc overdues but unfortunately it got tthe letter wrong way round so all the people who's account was current got advice of iminent deepshit legals, the slightly overdue got threateneed and so on, but however fortunately I had nothing whatsoever to do with it.
