Going to Newtown this weekend. First time for some years. Can anyone please advise the times that Shalfleet Quay is accessible by Avon relative HW Portsmouth?

Is the New Inn still as good as it used to be?

Hi,

Not sure the exact times, but we got in by dinghy (just) about 2hrs after lw springs.

The New Inn served great food last time I was there. (earlier this year).

We got up to the quay in an 18 foot trailer-sailer with the keel wound right up. Stayed too long in the pub and it was very muddy getting back! Sadly The New Inn is no where near as good as it used to be.
