Newton River _ New Inn

The New Inn at the head of Shalfleet Creek is a bit of a palaver to get to, but worth it. Good beer and food. Visited Monday on the way back from the Channel Islands - very refreshing.

this one i posted a while back, and i totally agree. best seafood iv'e had in years, although it was ten years ago since the last visit.

if you're interested a gaggle of giggling boaties will be making their way over from poole/solent somewhen closer to may, so have your forum burgee ready!

Thats good to know. Altho I reckon you should steer clear of it next year april/may time. I have it on good authority that a bit of a rabble will be sampling the beer and food. I've heard that they are a bit of an unsavory bunch
