Hi All - I'm considering taking an annual berth at Newhaven Marina. I have a draft of about 60cm. Can anyone tell me whether all the annual berths are accessible in any tide? Or do some of them dry out? Thanks in advance.
The berths get shallower as you go inshore. But you should ring them anyway, the last I heard they were full, mainly of windfarm boats.Hi All - I'm considering taking an annual berth at Newhaven Marina. I have a draft of about 60cm. That one is on the Forth 'tween Granton and Leith.Looks like more than one Newhaven in the UK... The one pictured above isn't in Sussex, but does look much more interesting.
If we are talking about Sussex..yes the staff are lovely, a pleasant change from the faceless, uniformed corporate robots in another Sussex marina. Was there last night . Some berth do dry out , have to say it's a bit of a run down place , although the staff seen ok .
