Hi All...
Having lifted my head above the parapet briefly following a longish lurk, I thought I’d better introduce myself more formally:
Returning to sailing following a 15 year break, I have recently purchased an old but young at heart Galion 22 (sail number 35), she is in the yard at North Fambridge Yacht Station and we are travelling most weekends to do what we can before the days draw in and the temperature drops. We is me (Russ) and my good lady (Christine).
Most of my previous sailing was in cruiser racers on the South Coast with the RAF and then a foray with the Squib Fleet on Rutland Water. This is my first venture into ownership.
It’s really good to make contact, see you all on the water next season, or if you see us in the Yard (we’re right by the gate) then please stop for a chat...
Regards
