New Years Eve on the east coast

Hi From Shotley !!!!!

we made it after a foggy trip from fambridge wednesday up to SYH then yesterday went up to ipswich ( fog just as bad ) and now down in shotley.
happy new year to all from heather and steve on c pontoon..

Happy new year to you both, glad you made it safely. Unfortunately, due to the fog, we'd had to abort. Didn't seem like a sensible thing to be driving nearly 90 miles in the fog, especially when more is forecast for tomorrow.

Just reading this thread having spent the evening with Steve & Heather (D'Absolute'). Bit of a foggy drive down but it was fairly clear by the time we reached Ipswich. We had an enjoyable evening and the fireworks were fantastic. Thanks Steve, great to see you again and lovely to meet Heater. Hope to see you again soon.
