Reading the growing comments on this forum about the UK becoming TB's nanny-state it strikes me that if I ever have to return it will be a bloody awful place to live. Clearly the only sane option would be to section off a portion of the UK, declare UDI and enjoy self-rule.

So imagine if the members of this forum joined together to establish a new world order:

Q1: Which bit of the UK would we claim for ourselves and why?

Q2: Who would we nominate to run the show and perform the top 'cabinet' jobs?

I think we should buy back New Zealand, do you know the going rate for blankets and guns vs real estate at the moment?

New zealand would be best but the people there might not like new English just as i dont like the masses arriving in France.
However A solution let us declair Yorkshire the independen state of England, at the same time Scotland and Wales should do the same
The outcome will be the usuall compomise with multinationals seeing tax benifits the fool in No10 will be advised and give Yorkshire away.

New World Order already declared by Jack the Lad et al here in (quasi) independent, devolved and thoroughly bonnie Scotland. The rest of you can fight over what's left.

Now, why don't you buy Tasmania?
It's going cheap right now, the weathers good (for the English) and its already part colonised.
English pounds work wonders and you don't need guns or blankets.
Check the real estate on the internet. Better than Italy and similar climate.
And the sailings great.
