on the one hand I don't want to tempt fate - I don't sign the papers until tomorrow morning (when she'll splash and the mast will be put in). But I'm so chuffed I've just got to post yesterday's photo.
What type of hoverboat is that , or do you have the ability to levitate objects at will /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

If you believe it, my wife has been nagging me to get a boat like this for months. Although she loves cruising, she knows this is something I've wanted to do for ages. So the cruising boat gets put on hold for a couple of years while I get to play at this.
If things go according to plan the mast should be up before lunch tomorrow, then I go out for an orientation sail with the vendor in the afternoon, then I'm on my own on Sunday.
Pics to follow if I make it back in one piece!
It's for the sea. I think she would get across Lake Zurich in about 5 or 10 minutes in the right conditions, so she needs somewhere to stretch her legs.
After a couple of days of wondering whether it would ever get done, she is now mine, and in the water, rig up. I was hoping to go out today but the mast took longer to rig than I expected. First thing tomorrow.
A few photos of today's events, with Sam Davies' ROXY in the background (far right) of the last one.
Looks wonderful. But please don't post any pix or I shall have Sir demanding one when he should be working on the cruising boat - I've already got pleas for yet another motorbike. Boys and their toys /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
