I am thinking of purchasing a day boat next summer for approx £2000, can anyone recommend a good starter boat in this price range?
Sea or River/Canal boats, what are best?
Also
What are reasonable mooring charges in the County of kent?
Can I leave the boat moored all year with the exception of maybe three months in winter when I would like to store it in dry dock.
What is needed to maintain these boats, servicing etc?
As you can see I am a complete novice but we all have to start somewhere, any help, tips or guidance would be appreciated.
