I want to replace the majority of the cockpit seat covers on my T44 as they are 6 years old and suffering from the sun and cracking, I would like to replace like for like. Forum history would have recommended MJ Marine but they appear to have gone to the wall. The boat is moored in the Solent, recommendations please.

Mastercovers at Port Solent below Marine superstore, Used them for many years good quality workmanship internal and external refurbs and repairs.
Always busy but worth the wait.

+1. He got hit hard when old Fairline went bust so anything orders that can support him now would be gratefully received I suspect.

Martin is a nice guy to deal with, his prices are keen, and I have every sympathy with him for losing out on the Fairline administration, but I have to tell it as it is, and the covers he made for me (as MJ Marine) haven't lasted long. The issue is that they are Sunbrella, a woven fabric, and there is only a single sew line for every seam, with no cross stitching alongside it to prevent fraying of the excess material. As a result the seams are failing after less than 2 years

This wouldn't be an issue with vinyl of course, and his work is otherwise OK.
