New Season Solent Meet

There we have it. A few of us will be there on Friday 18th. Main event is Sat 19th May. Arrival from whenever you wish, and we’ll have dinner at the Lifeboat sat evening. I will post an update early next week to confirm the booking.

As said before if you want to come, let me know and you need to get booking with East a Cowes Marina ASAP ref YBW rally. It’s set to be a great weekend for us Solent forumites to meet, chat and have a few beers.

A couple of marquees in the carpark,live music, this year I've been told a rock'n'roll band are entertaining us. They supply the food and drink, last year was a good spread.

As per Colin's description , normally a good turn out, not sure when it starts ,but we tend to end up in the lifeboat pub at some time in the evening ,hope you can make it over,

Boat is delayed due to all sorts of complication & I'm delayed healing (by way of a change )
So Easter possible but in lap of gods. I had better be fit by May or I shall be visiting my surgeon armed with a large garden gnome !!

This was suggested at the time I initially approached the Marina with the date but without any idea of numbers or indeed the feelings of other berth holders it was decided not to formally invite at this stage. Hopefully, If the timings workout it shouldn't effect too much on the opportunity to join in both.
