There was an owners group on Yahoo a couple of years ago, might be worth having a search for.

We had a 240 for a while, no major problems other than replacing the pipe to the toilet, nightmare and the water tank was corroded through which we missed when buying her, sorted with a flexible one. Otherwise fine little sports cruiser.

Got one myself...

Had her for about two years and love her. 218 Envoy 1990. Berthed just down the road from where I live on the Clyde. Bow can blow about like a bugger - but not too bad if you're ready for it. Otherwise, very pleased with mine. Great for one wife and one small child - wouldn't try many more than that. Recommend Brian at KKD powercentre re: dis panels and split charging (amongst other things): very helpful and quality work. Also Timtap (member of this parish) who was a great help to me re: engineering (I have the same engine as you). The 205 is pretty bombproof even for a chump like me. They are not the only ones though - lots of good advice here.

Have a great time!

I've had my Sealine 220 for around 2 years and very pleased. good amount of space for her size.

Steering at slow speed is difficult compared with my former boat which had an outboard.

Loads of helpful advice on this site.

Lifes too short so enjoy

Had a 218 for 3 years. Most fun we have evey had with a boat. Easy to handel. Only issues we ever had was with the exhaust manifold, but that was it. Only thing I ever found was that when at speed it takes a little work to keep it straight. Made a catch to hold the engine cover up if I needed to do any work at sea.
Good boats and great fun, I hope you enjoy it

We have owned a S24 diesel powered for 5 years and found it to be a fantastic boat. There used to be a sealine owners club/forum but I think it has finished.
Hope you enjoy your boat.

Hi,

We have owned our diesel powered S23 for a little over a year now and have had some good fun. Hope you enjoy yours as much as we enjoy ours

Have fun
