New Propeller

Our Aphrodite 36 coming out for a quick scrub of and top sides polish soon.
Last year I have noticed our three blade bronze propeller is getting really pink, I guess it's time to replace it with identical new one, at the same time when we replace cuttlas bearing.
Problem is, I don't have record of the size of our solid three blade propeller except shaft size, 35mm
Engine is Volvo Penta 2003T
Engine number is
Volvo Penta 2003T B 868491
No.: 2300055037

Gear box:
Volvo Penta MS 2B
NO: KGMS2B 16580 3.02

For The engine is a Volvo Penta 2003T


Can you please suggest someone who can advise and supply new propeller.

I bought a very similar looking one from Castle Marine at Caernarfon. They were able to identify all necessary data.

The size is usually stamped on the hub, sometimes on the bolt face if not between the blades.

New prop is eyewatering.
If there is enough solid metal left , any decent repair shop will at least have look and quote on refurbing that prop.
Depends really on how long you will be out the water.

Using the Vicprop calculator an 18*11 would seem about right. Your supplier Norris, Castle marine, Lake Engineering< Hamble Propellers for example will use a similar programme to calculate the size for you. If you are having problems with dezincification then you need to look at your anode. However your photos show what seems to be a sound propeller. "Ring" the blades and if they ring clear then the pink could just be on the surface and will polish out. If you want a second opinion before you spend a large sum on a new prop take it to one of the specialists for an assessment.

Painting it is the best way to protect from any future corrosion and at the same time double anode life.

Clements engineering would be able to scan your old prop with no need for a calculation if it's doing what's expected and refurb if metal is good.
