Morning all,
So, once the purchase is complete during the next week or so, I'm chomping at the bit to get out on the 'high seas' from Wargrave and have some questions:-
1. Etiquette: I've read some excellent posts about lock usage and plan to spend time at Sonning where the lock-keeper is extremely friendly on my daily dog walks, getting some further help/advice on corect use. What other points of etiquette should I watch out for (beyond the norms of civil politeness
)?
2. 'Must haves' any suggestions for investments we should make for essentials on board (safety, luxury, comfort, things that make that small essential difference etc)?
3. Beginner's things to 'watch-out for'? Any suggestions on what I should watch out for as a new river user? Anything that could lead to 'I could have told you that' situations? I imagine th epotential list is long, so just the obvious faux-pas that might hit us
