Hello from a new member.
For the last 15 years I have had to concentrate on work to make a little money. Now thinking of returning to my first love and purchase a boat again. Have had a few different boats in my life including a Kingfisher 26, Nicholson 35, Oceanis 39, Moody 33, Hunter 30 (US model) etc and for a year skippered a 65' ketch in the BVI's. Now looking to get a boat suitable for a grey haired & stiff jointed dreamer. Looking for something strong with inside helm and single handed ability. Not too fussy about speed, more concerned with comfort and safety and my wallet is happy for me to consider something at the cheaper end of the market. Have seen a Colvic Atlanta 32 in a harbour nearby and thought it looked suitable but have very little knowledge of the boat.
Looking at the web there seems to be both a 31 and 32 model but I cannot get a list of the differences.
Anyone help with information and experience of this boat?
Any other similar boat type suggestions would be welcome.
Intend to revisit old sailing grounds & sail to places such as the West Coast Scotland, Med & Canaries and most of the time there will only be two of us on-board.
