Has anyone heard of any new developments between Norfolk and Dorset planned, or in build at all please?

Newhaven has been sold to a young lady for a reputed 12m. plenty of scope for improvement!

that is interesting re Newhaven, do you know what the big picture plan is down there??

Not met her yet, Marina development started with oakdene, built 3or 4 blocks of flats,pp for much more council desperate for housing. crash of 2008/9 ended oakdene, rbs reputedly lent circa30m on the back of the marina and plans. someone with deep pockets could make a go of it, ie brighton marina development/ brunswick. In Brittany there was a policy some 10 years ago or so when the Brittany Area who recognise theactivity, trade and the tourism it brings to a town was going to build 10,000 new berths in 10 years.
They started with Brest Le Chateau, St Cast le Guildo, Port de la Foret and St Cast le Guildo.

Not a bad start, why cant the UK authorities learn a thing or two from the French instead of seeing them as an opportunity to build housing ?
