Bought a merry fisher with a Volvo penta tamd 22 105hp, and everything looked and sounded good, did the usual checks etc, took it out 4 times for around half an hour each time, today I lifted the top of the battery compartment and at there bottom was a lot of n water, checked the oil dipstick and completely dry, I thought maybe the oil filter wasn’t tight but that was fine n dry, I took photos underneath the best I could and I just cannot see where it’s coming from, no alarms have gone off, I have quickly turned her over so she’s not seizured, when she running there is a very small amount of blue smoke which I’ve no issue with, so thoughts please would be helpful

Most common place for coolant leaks is the coolant pump seal. Most common place for sea water leaks is the water pump seal.

Lack of oil? If it's not leaking out, it must be burning, which would suggest a knackered engine. Maybe start by checking the compressions. They should be 280-300. Anything under about 250 is a problem.

On my VP engine when I remove the dipstick it often shows no oil. Is that what you mean by "completely dry"? However, if I then reinsert it and remove it, it shows the correct oil level. This is normal on my engine and maybe the same on yours. It is because there is an O-ring sealing the top of the dipstick and it is not until you break that seal and allow the oil in the dipstick tube, which goes down into the oil, to level out. No relationship to a water leak.

Regarding the water in your battery box, is it fresh, saltwater or engine coolant?
