New Cranchi

If I was buying a new boat now I'd take a close look at an axopar, not sure if they're a bit too utilitarian/like a posh rib for me though.

I'd never really looked at them before but having a look at their website they do appear to be keenly priced and obviously they are very popular. The sleeping facilities are certainly novel!

Pardo sold by the bucket load, thirty units in the first four months.
In truth it is more an Itama Forty / Forty Five challenger then the small Cranchi or similar.
Pardo will launch a new Fifty in Cannes.

An interesting name to look for ten meter runabout which is setting an interesting design standard is the Invictus line.
I think they are very sweet designed by Christian Grande.

Then if you want something more traditional and with finishing of Riva standard but an inferior price tag, I would also add Colombo in the top of my list.

Windy and Scandinavians can produce these, cause they have a healthy internal market for them.
Small runabouts sub ten meters are popular in Scandinavia, and are moored by some of the nice villas they have by the sea.
A client of a colleague of mine had a Windy and an Aquador moored by his mooring by his sea side residence in Sweden, and all close Villas had the same.

In USA apart Chris Craft and Tiara sub ten meters it is outboard dominated. The quality of outboards and maintenance is so much less then I am surprised outboards are not dominating more in Europe.
But it is happening although not at the pace of USA. A report I read said the OB dominated 75% of new boats in 2017, the others was shafts, and stern drive only 5%.

I think Outboards will gain popularity in Europe.

Quite lucky really as La Napoule has a load of boat dealers inc invictus who regularly display 6 modals at the end of out jetty .
So I walk past them .
As mentioned on another thread last week I got up close and personal to the new Suny Pred 50 ,shortly to be given its Med debut - next week .
Last year the MBY team,s first trip on FL ,s 63 GTO was “ hiding in La Nap “ - actually plonked on the visitors berth before the show .
There’s a Pardo dealer opened up too and seems to be doing well .
The Abs guys usually have at least 3 and the Galeon Guys normally has 6 stock boats .
In the evening s throughout the summer they turn on the lights , open them up invitingly and set the Passerelles so you can view them .
Priny + SUNY a few stock + regular turnover after about 1-2 weeks of PDI ing of customers boats awaiting hand over .
Sessa dealer has about 4 stock boats .
The Cranchi guys have a few berths but no stock just regular turnover of customer boats .

We have GB , Azimut ,Searay , Apreamare ,Fjord , Boston whaler and even a Selene dealer too .Theres a Jeaneau and Beneteau dealer as well ,the swift trawlers sell well .
We recently remodelled one jetty to accommodate cats ,motor cats so now there’s a Pajot cat and Jeaneau cat demo boats here too .One cat is a 70 btw .

I,am not a boat nerd by any means just surrounded by dealers and there ever changing stock while dog walking :)

Our big three are there too the Fr concessionaires Hq .
The more motivated dealers do demos / viewings all hours .The Ab s dealer and his son ( sells Sessa too ) works the hardest often phaffing about until past 10 pm every day with potential customers.
Son takes all the stock out at any time with a punter .
One or two you never see the office open and the stock move just gathers slime @ the waterline .
